+Him 26, "The Ottawa"

There are things I like about the city of Ottawa and there are things I don't. I'm not much of a fan of the suburbs, as they look like any other city pretty much anywhere else in North America. But I do like the scenery, and I'm always glad to visit with friends and family. The Parliament buildings and that entire downtown area near the Quebec border are also pretty cool. With that said, here's the latest Add Him In Different Places, "The Ottawa"...

You'll notice a few chemtrail shots in there, just because I'm always looking out for that sort of thing, wondering what they're spraying over our heads. Ultimately that stuff gets in our soil and water you know. Moreso, it gets in you. Here's a brog about the subject where I took some time and did some research, if you're new to the topic.

Here's a link to a few photos I took while in Ottawa. Instead of posting them all here, I'll just link to my Photobucket account, where you can download or view them however you wish.

When I lived in Saskatoon I was in this band called Mr.Meaner, we never really did much other than play in the basement and record it. One of the songs we recorded was called, "Ottawa", I guess I couldn't help but associate the two when thinking about intro music and a title.

And now you know how my brain works.

Also while in Ottawa I stopped by LKCB 128.4 headquarters and surprised one of the DJ's. I had Tweeted them telling them I'd be in town," let's hook up while I'm in Ottawa.", but when I got to the door the conversation went like this,

Hello?

Hey It's Adam.

Adam who? I'm on air, playing an artist by the name of Adam Josh right now actually.

Yeah that's me.

What? ... Oh! Adam, come in come in, I'm on the air let's get in there. ... You do sort of look like him.

And as I walk in I hear "Real Friends" followed by "Webcam Cutie". The timing of it couldn't have been more precise. Unscripted reality for ya.

Here's Leonard from the station explaining his side of that story.

So head over to LKCB sometime. You can listen at work, and you can even request tunes online.

They also gave me an advance copy of Anders Norman's latest, "Just Another Mile" album while I was there. Just listened to it now and I have to say it's a little too country and poppy for my personal liking but overall, the quality of recording is very good... and I'm always a sucker for the hammond organ. Better than a lot of noise I hear on the radio nowadays.
