Back in February I wrote about how I was sitting on a few articles that I just needed the time to type out for the website here.
This is one of them.
Late February Canadian artist Matthew Good wrote a movie review for “The Master” which devolved into story telling time about the authors “mental illness” and personal thoughts on guns.
What stuck out to me in particular was the following:
“I haven’t commented on the belief of some in the US that a data base of the mentally ill be created regarding the gun issue so that people such as myself can be monitored, or whatever, lest our “craziness” results in the unthinkable. I’m mentally ill and abhor guns. But I suppose, under such a system, I would still be considered a possible threat.
My illness is genealogical prevalent in my family, I was born with it and have lived with it, unknowing or not, every day of my life, and have never gone on a gun-crazed killing spree. I’m a loving and highly devoted father, treat my animals, from horses to dogs and cats, as beings of equal worth, and am a secular humanist that, though some might claim it foolish, still clings to the belief that we, as people, can actually solve our problems. Perhaps the latter could be viewed as “crazy”, and if so then I’ve no problem being counted as such.”
I e-mailed a copy of this post to myself as soon as I read it, then immediately started collecting public information regarding what the writer dubbed, “the belief of some” – like it’s just a silly conspiracy theory that Jim Tresmond of the Tresmond Law Firm openly admits that he is currently representing clients that have had their firearms confiscated merely for using anti-anxiety medication.
But that’s a recent article, get ready to start reading because here comes some of the rest of what I was able to pull up in what is just the tip of the iceberg of ample evidence for the push to take Mr. and Mrs. America’s Guns.
- MSNBC – “Are You Too Sick To Own A Gun?”
- NBC New York – “NY Passes Nation’s Toughest Gun Control Law”
- Portland Press Herald – “SD Panel Regects Bill To Keep Guns From Mentally Ill”
- Bloomberg – “California Seizes Guns As Owners Lose Right To Bear Arms”
- PsychCentral – “Keeping Guns Out Of The Hands Of The Mentally Ill”
- Infowars – “Veterans Guns Confiscated After ‘Forced Psychiatric Evaluation’”
To be fair, the same author I mentioned earlier seemed to have a slight change of mind later.
This push we are seeing now to curtail and eliminate the Second Amendment is becoming more and more apparent each and every day – this is not the “belief of some” – but saying so is a gracious pat on our confused heads from our benevolent and all-knowing masters – no, this is a very real and very serious topic.
Anyone can give their opinion on guns. I will give mine when I am finished this article. Before that, I would like to make a few more points.
- Criminals don’t obey the law. That’s why they’re criminals.
So go ahead and ban chainsaws and knives while you’re at it. Take forks out of autistic childrens hands too – you never know who they could accidentally mame with a fork!
Go ahead and call the police and wait for however long it takes them to come save you instead of simply shooting whoever breaks into your house to menace you and your family. Rrright.
- Does anyone remember history? Anyone?
Hitler took the guns. Period.
- Have you ever wondered why throughout history you constantly see military coup d'etats over and over?
It’s simply because when you have the weapons you have the power. Now turn in your guns!
- You’ll have to ban bullets because we can print guns and magazines on 3D printers now.
Finally, my personal thoughts.
This global push for disarmament is happening - for real - and it's not just limited to America. It is open information that the longterm agenda for the United Nations is a total disarming of the World, leaving a “World Army” as the global enforcers of “peace” – whatever the “New World Order” defines that “peace” as.
My mother is American, my father is Canadian. I can see both sides anytime I want - and even in this particular debate - I can still see both sides. I was given bb guns at a young age. I have lived out West and owned 9mm rifles (like this) and various shotguns. I've traveled through Southern United States such as Texas and have been overseas as well. I am not afraid of guns, and if I had the time, I would probably enjoy shooting at a range or somewhere safe every once in a while.
I am mature enough to realize that guns by themselves are about as inherently evil as a sword is. If someone wants to murder or seriously injure someone else, they don’t need a gun to do it. And if a total gun-ban hasn’t worked for Mexico (or Chicago for that matter), then it’s probably not the greatest idea to try it anywhere else… UNLESS you WANT a civil war, unless you actually are trying to create and foster dissent, mobilizing like-minded people to align against you so you can therefore justify a new war – a domestic one. That would explain the recent ammo purchases by the DHS, and the POTUS’ call for a “civilian national security force, just as well funded as the military”.
And if being able to see is crazy then call me the one-eyed man in a room full of blind people.
But hey, Matt’s right – this is just “the belief of some”.
Okay there bud.
Save all the guns for the armed guards of the lobbyists for gun-control, right? '
