30 Days of Ramadan

Just got back from breaking fast at the mosque with the Muslim community and boy is my stummy full! Those guy's can sure cook! 29 days of Ramadan left! Go find a Muslim and ask him to help you try fasting with them! Burn down your walls of hate, swallow your pride - Muslims are people just like you and me!

To add to that, some of the most amazing people I've ever met have called themselves Muslims. Our culture could learn more from them than they could learn from ours.

Religious debates, well, that's another topic all together.

What's more, I met this awesome 11 year old named Fahahd. He got me a bottled water, told me how he liked the food. Told me butter chicken was his favourite though. The other brothers I know there told me they had no idea where he came from ...but that he was being very helpful with setting up plates and all that.

Made me want to be a kid again, so we could go climb trees or ride bikes...

There's no purity left in our culture. And when that happens, you gotta' go find it elsewhere. Maybe Islam has it's flaws, but the Muslim community here takes care of eachother pretty well, and their kindness shows. Well, that's my personal experience talking at least.
