What If We Never Return?

Listen to people when they talk about life after death.

You'll hear a lot of buzzwords and catch phrases like, "I'm coming back as a..." or, "Your soul goes to hell/heaven/paradise..." etc., etc.

But what if we never return?

What if it was possible to not reincarnate as a cat or a dog or someone rich or someone poor or anything - what if you didn't ever return?

Why do we have to reincarnate on Earth at all?

And who said we're reincarnating?

See what I'm saying - why is no one talking about this stuff besides the hippies?

What if I choose to disregard all Earthly ideas of reincarnation or afterlives and literally just leave

Like packing up my spiritual bags and taking off forever - I don't want to talk about Mars or Pluto or living another life on any other planet in any other body - just go. The end.

Looking for the exit, finding it, and going through it.

That's where you'll find me if you want to try and follow. Inside the space of infinite silence, infinite awareness, infinite solitude. Just me, alone, infinitely - for however long I decide to be infinitely alone.

But the nature of the place I am going is that if you show up there - I may perceive you as a projection of my own thoughts as opposed to you being the real and individual being of you.

Tricky thing, that.

What if your entire afterlife is something which you yourself have created?

Seriously.

Allow the thought of your entire belief system crumbling beneath you to enter your mind and your heart right now.

That's where I live pal, right here - inside the truth, whatever form it may take.

Allow the thought that you could be wrong about everything you know to really sink in.

It's delicious and liberating if you move past the initial phases of shock and terror.

It's harder for those who have been raised being told something with a measure of certainty from an authority figure - and I feel for you.

But imagine the truth is that you go wherever you go. Wherever you want to, for however long, and when your done punishing or rewarding yourself, you go somewhere else - wherever you want, however long it takes - infinitely.

You can't even get your mind around it and you'd rather stick to your comfy and safe belief systems than admit that I might be right about something.

It's okay - I'm used to it.

But can we be honest here for a second, I don't really care about followers or fans or music or money or art or proving anything to anyone - none of this petty stuff really matters where I'm going.

But until then, I'm here on Earth just like the rest of you. And you're all on your own journey doing your own thing infinitely too, learning or not learning, punishing or rewarding yourself - for however long you want.

Maybe you need to die 100 more times on Earth before you can mature some certain part of your soul - maybe you want to live a few eons as a citizen of some idea of hell that you have created for yourself - who knows?

I believe in you and the power of your spirit so much that I believe you really do decide your own spiritual fate, forever. Sure, maybe you pushed your way into a prison or two, or maybe you've been forced to do some things you haven't wanted to do in one incarnation or another - but I'm talking about infinity here, not a few years in a human body on Earth.

Who are you if we relocated you to Mars? What if we put you on the first ship to Pluto? Who would _________ be? Are you defined by your interactions with other humans? Guess what Bub - we all die, individually and alone, together. No one, not one single person on Earth, no matter how much they love you, will be able to prevent you from dying.

Unless you're loved by a crazy billionaire who merges your spirit with machines and you become a character from the movie Transcendence.

If so, call me.

So let's make the best of the time we have and let the cards fall wherever they may when we go.

As for me, I'm not interested in joining a Borg hive-mind projection of the afterlife anymore. Their gods are mass-murdering assholes when you really dig deep into it, and I've just had enough of that for one infinity. Be they aliens or "higher vibration" gods or angels - who cares? They're them and I'm me. I don't want to be anyone's god or spiritual overlord - to me, that's coming from a lower vibratory plane - but that's another story.
